Lofi (also written as lo-fi) is low-fidelity music.

A year ago I had released a lofi-styled album, “alternating.bit.lofi.” Those mixes were comprised of specially collected lofi-styled tracks from my Downscope and dreams without end projects, fused together with added grit.

With this new album “fallen dreams,” completely new tracks have been crafted from the ground up. Smoky lounge basslines, ethereal melodic chimes, and even some guitar riffs and horns have surfaced offering a more traditional lofi hip-hop vibe.

Commissioned from Bangladesh is graphic artist Marufa Khanam whose reflective lofi girl adds the finishing touch for both the album art and presence on YouTube (video link below).

In addition to the full, continuous mix, the individual tracks are also included on this release page, completely raw and with handles for independent track mixing and indexing.

Plaintive organs bleed through the clouds hanging over a mountain covered in greenery, like Philip Glass in slow motion. Airy rhythms pulsing in a slow, heartbeat march, perhaps led by distant drums echoing far away from where you stand, at the foot of the summit.
