Just hours after the infamous LoFi Girl YouTube channel was taken down for copyright strikes, I felt I needed to somehow express the loss I felt with that significant icon vanishing, however temporary it may be.

After ordering a pricey 1-foot vinyl figure and not feeling the void was satisfied, I decided to take matters in my own hands by creating my own Lofi mix, pulling together all of the Lofi-styled and other potential tracks from my dreams without end and Downscope projects. Buried in vinyl crackles and with customized post processing for Lofi vibes is a two hour mix I created and uploaded on the alternating.bit.music YouTube channel. Even though LoFi Girl has actually returned just hours ago, I'm still happy to pay tribute with this release.

I’ve made this mix available as a physical, double CD release for hard media enthusiasts via this Bandcamp page, which of course offers a digital download as well. Chill, study, abide.
